The RPSB 4A which is composed of 70  personnel will be the first batch who will be  leaving upon the availability of C130. The  other contingents will be under alert to  replace the said troops after a month of  deployment in the said city or depending on  the situation and order of the higher office. During the Send-Off Ceremony held on June  26, 2017 at the Regional Headquarters, the  Regional Director together with the  Command Group and staff of Regional  Logistics Research and Development  Division (RLRDD) headed by PSSUPT Renato  S Alba inspect the firearms and other  equipment of the troops. “I want you to bring the banner of  CALABARZON high. We have to defend our  country. We have our sworn duty that we  took when we joined this noble profession,”  PCSUPT Ma.o Ranada Aplasca said during  the send-off ceremony of troops to Marawi  City. “While it is true that only law enforcement  functions will be their main objective, our  troops are prepared for the worst scenario  when they will have to be deployed on the  frontline. The mission will not be easy, but it is not impossible,” added PCSUPT Aplasca. PRO 4A personnel have been utilized as  augment force in different areas of the  country such as the previous deployment  during the 2016 elections in Maguindanao  and duringthe disastrous Typhoon Yolanda  that hit the region. PRO4A Launches R.E.S.H.A.P.E.  Program   Camp Vicente Lim - “My role to you as your  regional Director is like a father of a family  that is to provide guidance, remind and  redirect you to the right direction and to  impose disciplinary action, however I am  here to listen to your concerns,” PCSUPT  Ma. O Ranada Aplasca said in his message  to the participants of R.E.S.H.A.P.E. or the  Return to the Effective, Socially, Healthy  and Active Person Empowerment Program.  Sixty-Four (64) participants (4  policewomen) include Police Commissioned  and Non-Commissioned Officers from the  five Police Provincial Offices within  CALABARZON Region joined the said  program.  This 30-day training without cell phones will  focus on strengthening and enhancing the  participants relationship with God, their  families, neighbors, and the community.  The program also aims to reinstill in the  minds of the participants the sense of  honor, service, and justice which is the  philosophy of police service. The subjects which will be tackled in the  training are on Responsible parenthood,  Leadership Principles, Stress Management,  and Police Ethisc and the PNP Code of  Ethical Standards among others.  “This training is part of our serious Internal  Cleansing Program to transform and  redirect our personnel,” the Regional  Director added.  The Regional Director will also introduce  preventive strategies to minimize the  involvement of officers from illegal  activities. The strategy involves an old  concept of squad system wherein personnel  will be grouped into squads with 5  personnel per squad and will be headed by  a squad leader. This according to him would  allow the squad leaders to assume the  responsibility of disciplining their people in  their respective units. Moreover, he emphasized the 3 dimensions  in which police CALABARZON should  developed. “We have to enhance our  spiritual dimension to be able to transform  a God centered, service oriented and family  based police officers,” the regional Director  further said.
