Program   Camp Vicente Lim - “My role to you as your regional Director is like a father of a  family that is to provide guidance, remind and redirect you to the right direction  and to impose disciplinary action, however I am here to listen to your concerns,”  PCSUPT Ma. O Ranada Aplasca said in his message to the participants of  R.E.S.H.A.P.E. or the Return to the Effective, Socially, Healthy and Active Person Empowerment Program.  Sixty-Four (64) participants (4 policewomen) include Police Commissioned and  Non-Commissioned Officers from the five Police Provincial Offices within  CALABARZON Region joined the said program.  This 30-day training without cell phones will focus on strengthening and  enhancing the participants relationship with God, their families, neighbors, and  the community. The program also aims to reinstill in the minds of the  participants the sense of honor, service, and justice which is the philosophy of  police service. The strategy involves an old  concept of squad system wherein personnel will be grouped into squads with 5  personnel per squad and will be headed by a squad leader. This according to him  would allow the squad leaders to assume the responsibility of disciplining their  people in their respective units. Moreover, he emphasized the 3 dimensions in which police CALABARZON should  developed. “We have to enhance our spiritual dimension to be able to transform  a God centered, service oriented and family based police officers,” the regional  Director further said.
