The  awardees were recognized for their involvement and  meritorious accomplishment during the conduct of SAFE 2016,  police operations and other commendable accomplishments.  One noteworthy was the recent accomplishment of Cavite  particularly Bacoor City Police Station wherein more r less 10  kilos and 400 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated and  4 suspects were arrested during a buy-bust operation  conducted on May 17, 2016 at Park Homes, Brgy. Queensrow,  West Central, Bacoor City. Anaother remarkable deed that was given recognition was the  act of the couple police officers namely PO2 Raymond L  Matundan and PO1 Mary Joy M Matundan both members of  Talisay Municipal Police Station of Batangas Police Provincial  Office who displayed honesty and dedication by bringing back  without hesitations to the owner of the lost pouch bag in May  14, 2016, containing large amount of money, passbook, ATM  Cards and other valuable belongings owned by Mrs. Teresa De  Leon Maravilla of Brgy. Sto. Tomas, Batangas. The story of the  couple were already featured in various TV program both local  and national and was also liked by netizens i  the social media  after it went viral. They were also given recognition by the local  government of Taisay for such exemplary display of character.  The awards were presented by PRO4A Officer-In-Charge  PCSUPT Ronald V Santos assisted by Regional Chief  Directorial Staff PSSUPT Bernabe M. Balba.

It is also focused on the full implementation of the Magna Carta of Women (RA 9710).  During the program, PRO4A gave recognition to police women who contributed in the over-all accomplisments of the region in the operational  aspect.Awards were given to the following women police officers:  PSINSP Alma H Gapunuan, San pablo CPS, Laguna PPO-Medalya ng Kagalingan for the conduct of Anti-Illegal Drug Operations from July 22, 2016 to  February 28, 2017 that resulted in the arrest of number 1, 3, and 10 Most Wanted Drug Personalities and neutralization of Ronald A Pasco and arrest of 6  more other Top 10 Most Wanted Person. PSINSP Jean N Alagos, Sta. Rosa CPS, Laguna PPO- Medalya ng Kasanayan for the apprehension of the suspects of the sensational cases such as the  Ma. Antonette Tan Murder Case and SITG Sta. Ana case. PINSP Armida E Eclavea, Liliw MPS, Laguna PPO - Medalya ng Kasanayan for the conduct of drug clearing operations that resulted to the declaration of all  its 33 Baarangay/Drug Cleared/Certified by Director Archie A Grande, Regional Director, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 4A on February 14, 2017.  PO3 Meldie C Gatdula, Infanta MPS, Quezon PPO - Medalya ng Papuri for the successful conduct of entrapment operation on February 6, 2017 that  resulted in the arrest of Cris P Mendez for Violation of RA 775 (Child Pornography) in relation to section 8 of RA 10175.  Medalya ng Papuri is awarded to the following personnel for the successful conduct of activities such as ‘Pulis ko Titser Ko Program,Tree Planting, Feeding  Program, Medical/Dental Mission program in various schools and barangays from April 1, 2016 to February 2017: PO2 Jeanette N Forte, Cavite PPO; PO2  Suelyn A Conde, Laguna PPO; PO2 Ailyn B Flores, Batangas PPO; PO2 Melody P Nambuca, Rizal PPO; and PO3 Melody A Bartolome, Quezon PPO. Guest of Honor and Speaker, Director Olivia M Luces, Office of the Civil defense 4A extends her appreciation to the women who are in the field of Publice  Safety Services such as the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology. “I appreciate your  courage in facing your work despite of being a woman, and a mother”, she added.  Other line-up activities of PRO4A are Advocacy (IEC Materials Distribution/Online Advocacy), TESDA Lecture on Make-Up/Dressing Up, Outreach  Activity/Gift Giving/Medical Dental Mission (cavite), Welnness Seminar, Orientation on the Magna Carta of Women, Fun Run, all female First Aid Training,  Gift Giving (Children’s Joy Foundation) and Zumba.
