The  awardees were recognized for their involvement and  meritorious accomplishment during the conduct of SAFE 2016,  police operations and other commendable accomplishments.  One noteworthy was the recent accomplishment of Cavite  particularly Bacoor City Police Station wherein more r less 10  kilos and 400 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated and  4 suspects were arrested during a buy-bust operation  conducted on May 17, 2016 at Park Homes, Brgy. Queensrow,  West Central, Bacoor City. Anaother remarkable deed that was given recognition was the  act of the couple police officers namely PO2 Raymond L  Matundan and PO1 Mary Joy M Matundan both members of  Talisay Municipal Police Station of Batangas Police Provincial  Office who displayed honesty and dedication by bringing back  without hesitations to the owner of the lost pouch bag in May  14, 2016, containing large amount of money, passbook, ATM  Cards and other valuable belongings owned by Mrs. Teresa De  Leon Maravilla of Brgy. Sto. Tomas, Batangas. The story of the  couple were already featured in various TV program both local  and national and was also liked by netizens i  the social media  after it went viral. They were also given recognition by the local  government of Taisay for such exemplary display of character.  The awards were presented by PRO4A Officer-In-Charge  PCSUPT Ronald V Santos assisted by Regional Chief  Directorial Staff PSSUPT Bernabe M. Balba.

PRO-4A Launches 3rdBatch of R.E.S.H.A.P.E. Program Camp BGen Vicente Lim- Chief Superintendent Ma.O R Aplasca, Regional Director of Police Regional Office CALABARZON graces the  opening of the 3RDBatch of R.E.S.H.A.P.E. or the Return to the Effective, Socially, Healthy and Active Person Empowerment Program today,  February 26, at Multi-Purpose Center, Camp BGen Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna. Seventy (70) Police Non-Commissioned Officers consisting of three (3) policewomen and sixty-seven (67) policemen from the five (5) Police  Provincial Offices join the said program. Participants will undergo 45-day training that will be held at Provincial Mobile Force Company, Camp Sandigan, Brgy Bitin, Bay, Laguna. On  the duration of the training, cell phones and other gadgets will not be allowed so that participants could focus more on strengthening and rebuilding  their relationship with God, their families, co-workers, to their sworn duty and to the community through lectures and spiritual activities. Most of the personnel that will undergo R.E.S.H.A.P.E. are those with criminal and administrative cases. These cases include Grave  Misconduct while others are Conduct Unbecoming, Dishonesty and Absence without Official Leave (AWOL). Some are endorsed by their respective  Chiefs of Police due to misdemeanors.   “We are promoting a God-Centered, Service-Oriented and Family-Based Police Service in CALABARZON. RESHAPE is part of the serious  Internal Cleansing program of our region to transform and redirect our personnel.” RD Aplasca said. “You are here because we care for you.
